SANT ELIA COUTURE (CUSTOM BRIDAL)

Our Sant Elia Couture service starts from $8,000 AUD + fabrications & embellishments.

We usually find our custom bridal looks sit between $10,000 - $15,000 AUD once fabrications and embellishments have been added.

Our veils are all made-to-order and start from $500 + embellishments.

At Sant Elia our primary focus is our brides and helping them to bring their bridal dream to life.

A great amount of care and detail is put into every creation. We start by ensuring the chosen silhouette fits perfectly to our bride's body shape. Next we look at fabrications and embellishments which are selected in collaboration with our bride.

Every step of the way, we involve our bride in the decision making process, nothing is put into production until it is bride approved. This means every lace motif or petal placement is personally viewed and agreed on before it is sewn in place.

The couture process is a labour of love and with over 60 years team combined experience, our brides trust their gowns are in exceptional hands.

Custom couture means a gown that is designed and crafted for a bride that has a specific dress in mind and cannot find it anywhere. Client usually provides suggestions and inspirations to our Creative Director Stephanie to create a unique, one-off gown.

Sant Elia specialises in bespoke bridal design. We invite brides who envisage a custom gown to visit our Sydney Atelier for a bridal consultation.

An Atelier is the private workshop or studio of a professional designer.

Our Atelier is located behind our showroom at 188 New Canterbury Road, Petersham.

During your consultation, you will have the opportunity to view and try our collections - this will assist you and our team to understand the shape of your dream look.

As you discover the Atelier and discuss your envisaged gown, Stephanie will hand sketch your custom design, assessing potential fabrications and styles that reflect your personal style. We invite brides to bring along any images or items you’ve curated over the years that have sparked inspiration for your gown.

Stephanie will talk you and your guests through your gowns journey from conception to final look including fittings and fabric selection. Your personalised quote will be prepared during your consultation and emailed to you shortly thereafter.

Bringing your dream dress to life is our labour of love. We recommend reaching out to our team between 10 to 12 months prior to your wedding date but we can certainly work with longer or shorter lead times.

We’re passionate about bringing our brides dream gown to life. That being said, please contact our team on enquire@santelia.com.au ASAP to confirm our availability for your wedding dates.

We understand your friends and family could not be more excited for your big day and it’s important that you share in that happiness. For your first bridal consultation, we recommend bringing along no more than two of your most trusted family members or friends. This will ensure you, as the bride, are able to work with Stephanie to breathe life into your dream look without distraction.

Our made-to-order bridal collections start from $6,000 AUD +

Pieces are available to view via our e-Boutique and in our Sydney Atelier. Brides are welcome to make an appointment to try pieces at the Atelier.

The Sant Elia made-to-order pieces are exclusively available to order via the Sant Elia e-Boutique or at the Sydney Atelier. Brides are welcome to view, try or purchase the collection via our Sydney Atelier by appointment.

Yes, minor design alterations are available however are subject to availability and priced on enquiry.

Made-to-order means your look will be handcrafted to a standard dress size and height. Once the look is delivered, clients may choose to work with their trusted seamstress to make any necessary minor adjustments at their expense.  

If you purchase your made-to-order pieces via the Sydney Atelier it is possible to have your look created from your own personal measuerments. Please contact our team for more information enquire@santelia.com.au or follow the link to request a booking here

We offer the attachment of Sant Elia made-to-order pieces at the waist as a complimentary service. Please be sure to specify this in your order. 

When ordering made-to-order your piece will be made to a standard dress size and height. On the footer of our website you will find a size chart to ensure you’re ordering the right size. We recommend ordering a size that best fits your natural shape and curvature to ensure optimal comfort.

We’ve created a short video guide to assist you in taking your individual measurements. You are also welcome to use our measurement guide available to view on the e-Boutique with each Sant Elia made-to-order piece. 

We appreciate that taking measurements can be a bit daunting however our friendly team is on hand to assist you with any questions you may have.

We require a minimum of 16 weeks to bring your look to life and recommend placing your order at least 6 months prior to your wedding date. 

Should your date be less than 6 months away or you require your look earlier, please contact enquire@santelia.com.au prior to placing your order to discuss the available solutions. 

Once you have completed your order, our team will make direct contact to confirm your wedding date, sizing and measurements. We will also confirm if you wish for your pieces to be attached at the waist, our complimentary service for Sant Elia made-to-order brides.  

Each Sant Elia made-to-order piece is lovingly handcrafted by our team of bridal artisans. Your piece is quality assured by our Creative Director, Stephanie Caltabiano prior to dispatch from our Atelier in Sydney’s inner west.  

Our team will ensure your piece is created to the size confirmed at the time of receiving your order. All alterations or changes to pieces thereafter are to be organised by and to the expense of the bride.
