SANT ELIA’s Stephanie Caltabiano Cherrington creates bespoke couture with a distinctive approach to bridal. Intricate detail and a touch of cheekiness are hallmarks of SANT ELIA’s unique and effortlessly cool looks for your most special day.

Named after Monte Sant’Elia in Calabria, Italy, SANT ELIA depicts a European style reflective of Cherrington’s own cultural heritage. Inspired by a rich family tradition of dress-making and a devotion to all things beautiful… our passion for creating is reflective of nostalgically hand-made couture techniques with the twist of a fresh and current aesthetic.

Our Custom Bridal Service focuses on providing a personalised design for every client, to create custom gowns that our clients feel their absolute best in. All of our dresses are made in our Sydney studio by our skilled, all female team #womeninspiringwomen

About Stephanie, our Designer/Director

Since establishing SANT ELIA in December 2014, Stephanie’s drive is to create bridal looks that celebrate the personalities and tastes of clients, as well as expressing the SANT ELIA aesthetic that she has dreamed of since her childhood.

After graduating with First-Class Honours from her studies, Bachelor of Design in Fashion at University of Technology Sydney, Creative Director Stephanie has had expansive experience in the Australian fashion industry. After being asked by friends and family to create looks for their special days, Stephanie realised there was a gap in the market for Fashion-Forward bridal with attention to quality and fit.

Pricing for Custom Bridal Gowns

Our couture bridal dresses have a starting price of $5000 AUD +. The pricing is based on fabrications selected and the level of detail required to create the design.

 

Timeframe to have SANT ELIA create your bespoke gown

We recommend booking 10 to 12 months prior to your wedding date. If you are looking for a shorter timeframe please enquire with us at your earliest convenience to find out the availability around your dates.

 

About the Bridal Consultation Service

45 minute consultations in our sunny Petersham showroom/studio with our Designer Stephanie where you will discuss concepts, have the opportunity to view/try on samples. We advise a maximum of 2 people attend with the bride for this appointment.

Our head designer will sketch a custom design during your session and give you a pricing guide relevant to your budget and requirements. You will be able to see examples from our collection of fabrications, fit and silhouette. If you are looking to try a particular style, please let us know prior to your appointment where possible.
