Our story
Established in 2014, Sant Elia has evolved into one of Sydney’s premium couture bridal labels. Renowned for masterful corestry and defining silhouettes, Sant Elia was founded on traditional bridal techniques. At the helm, Creative Director Stephanie is mused by the individual bride, her sense of style and modes of self expression.
The Sant Elia bride looks to intertwine modern elegance with unique fabrics and intricate embellishments with a romanticism style aesthetic.

Our Creative Director
Loyal to her métier as Creative Director and Founder, Stephanie Caltabiano bridges the gap between traditional bridal couture and modern creative expression. After graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles at the University of Technology Sydney, Stephanie had several years of industry experience working across fast-fashion to high-end brands.
Looking to fulfill her creative visions Stephanie moved into couture and founded Sant Elia. To Stephanie, Sant Elia is more than a labour of love, it’s the tangible expression of bringing one's dream to life. Stephanie devotes her time and expertise to her brides creating invaluable experiences, imparting a piece of her heart with every creation from the Sant Elia Atelier.
Couture Journey
Sant Elia specialises in custom bridal couture. The Sant Elia custom service is a truly unique experience for brides who wish to collaborate and create a one-off bridal look.
Each custom couture design is delicately handcrafted by Stephanie and her team of bridal artisans in the Sydney Atelier, where the bride will revisit for her fittings throughout the gown's creation.

Bambini by Sant Elia specialises in custom couture for children. Designed with the intention of becoming a family heirloom for future generations, designs are produced with intricate lace and hand pearl beading.

The Atelier
Established in 2014 at our first studio in Leichhardt; Sant Elia relocated in 2016 to Petersham; and, has now found our new home in Drummoyne, where we continue to design and create on-site.
